The Ezina Sanctuary

The Ezina Sanctuary started in 2011 by Joanne Williams. Joanne has over 12 years experience and is fully trained in everything she does to the highest standard, using only the very best brands. She grew it from a home salon to a high street salon with 5 therapists however in 2023 she decided this was not where she wanted to be and bought it back home.

In 2018 Jo's daughter Mariella joined The Ezina Sanctuary doing professional make up, but also went on to qualify in everything nails, brows and lash lifts. Mariella now runs her own make up business alongside her nail business called Makeup by Mariella.

We are fully qualified and certified in all the treatments we carry out: Ink London, Magpie Gel, IBX, HD Brows, Crystal Clear and Calgel just to name a few.

The Team

Joanne Williams

Founder, Master Therapist & Skin Specialist

Joanne is the founder of The Ezina Sanctuary, and is a fully qualified beauty therapist offering a wide variety of beauty treatments. She has trained with some of the best and well known companies in the beauty industry, such as CND, Elemis, Nouveau, and HD Brows.

She is certified in CND Shellac, IBX and Calgel and in 2013 completed her master painter qualification. In 2011 she took her NVQ2 at the International College of Beauty where she received student of the year award. She has trained with Nouveau in LVL Lashes and Ellebanna Lash Lifts as a great alternative to eyelash extensions and is a fully qualified HD Brow stylist. In 2018 she trained in Dermaplaning which is a fabulous treatment for improving your skin. In 2019 she has embarked on her journey in Microblading and has taken skincare to the next level with Crystal Clear.

She takes great pride in her work and her forte is helping clients with damaged nails and getting them back to good health. If you have any questions please do not hesitate in asking, she is always happy to advise and help.

Mariella Crespin

Professional Make Up Artist & Nail Technician

Mariella joined the team at The Ezina Sanctuary in 2018. Mariella has trained with CND Shellac, Ink London and completed her pedicure qualification with Footlogix. She completed her Calgel Pro in June 2018, became an HD Brow Stylist in 2020 and has recently become a crystal clear professional.

Mariella‘s greatest passion is her make up, she is out in house make up artist but also mobile to attend weddings or proms.

She loves her nail art and spent a lot of 2020 lockdown learning new techniques and created some stunning hand drawn designs.

Mariella is very caring and she is always able to advise and help especially when it comes to colour choice.
